Just another small moment from a loading day.
Before the goods went into the container, I walked around and checked the packaging one more time.
And there it was — one wooden case had already started to come apart at the top.
So we stopped, called the workers over, and had it nailed and reinforced before loading.
It may look like a very small issue. But after weeks at sea, multiple handlings, unloading and inland transportation, a loose wooden case can turn into a much bigger problem.
Sometimes one more nail is all it takes.
The devil is in the details.
A few extra minutes on my side can prevent a much more expensive problem on the buyer’s side.
